    Introduction

    At Renya, we respect your right to privacy and control over your personal data. This Data Deletion Policy explains how you can permanently delete your account and all associated data from our platform. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

    How to Delete Your Account

    To permanently delete your Renya account and all associated data, follow these steps:

    1. Open the Renya app on your mobile device
    2. Tap on the "Account" tab in the bottom navigation bar
    3. Scroll down to the "Danger Zone" section at the bottom of the page
    4. Tap on "Delete My Account"
    5. Read the warning carefully and type "DELETE" in the confirmation field
    6. Tap the confirmation button to permanently delete your account

    Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted immediately upon confirmation. This action cannot be reversed.

    What Data Gets Deleted

    When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

    • Profile Information: Display name, email address, bio, profile picture, and account preferences
    • Habit Tracking Data: All habit records, completion history, streaks, and tracking statistics
    • Symptom Logs: Leg heaviness tracking, swelling records, pain levels, and all health tracking data
    • Progress Photos: Body measurements, progress images, and visual tracking data
    • Community Content: Posts, comments, likes, and all social interactions
    • Saved Content: Bookmarked articles, saved resources, and journey progress
    • Authentication Data: Login credentials, session tokens, and all authentication information

    Data Retention Period

    All data is deleted immediately upon request with no retention period. Once you confirm account deletion, your data is permanently removed from our active systems right away. This action is irreversible and cannot be undone.

    We do not maintain backup copies or archive deleted user data. After deletion, your information cannot be recovered by you or by Renya support staff.

    Export Your Data First (Optional)

    Before deleting your account, we recommend exporting your data if you'd like to keep a personal copy of your tracking history and progress. To export your data:

    • Go to Account Settings in the app
    • Look for "Export My Data" option
    • Request a data export, which will be sent to your registered email

    This is optional but recommended if you want to preserve your journey history before permanent deletion.

    Important Note: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your data, including tracking history, progress photos, and community contributions, will be permanently lost. Please make sure you want to proceed before confirming deletion.
